AOPA MEMBER: Fall 2026 AOPA and IIOP Business Certificate Program: Finance

This course builds financial literacy for prosthetics and orthotics professionals by connecting clinical and operations decisions to financial ourtcomes. Partitipants will gain practical understanding of revenue, costs, reimbursement, and finacnial risk in a healthcare environment. The course moves from basic financial concepts to advanced topics such as budgeting, margin management, and long-term financial sustainability, empowering participants to make informed decisions that support both patient care and organizational stability.  

The course must be completed in the semester in which it was enrolled into. Participants must complete each course in the Certificate Program in order, completing each pre-requisite course prior to beginning the next. Each course must be completed in 25 days to continue to the next course for completion of the full certificate program in a semester. 

If you fail to complete the course in the assigned time period then an "incomplete" will be administered and you will have to re-enroll to complete the course again.
